Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and SummaryTube for using Edit Page. It covers what the service is, how paid plans and refunds work, and what each of us is responsible for.

Effective date: October 6, 2026Operated by SummaryTube

01Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SummaryTube ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of Edit Page (https://editpage.dev), regarding your access to and use of our website, Chrome extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SummaryTube is available at https://summarytube.com/.

Legal entity. The business named on your order and in these Terms is SummaryTube. Edit Page (formerly "Edit Webpage") is the product name and branding for the Service; it is not a separate legal entity.

02Description of Service

Edit Page is a browser extension that lets you visually edit webpages in your own browser: change text, CSS and HTML, inspect elements, remove clutter, take screenshots and, if you choose, save your changes for a website so they are reapplied when you return. Depending on your plan, features may include saved changes on more websites, sync between computers, advanced style tools, exports and other functionality described in the extension or on our Pricing page.

Edits are made only in your browser. They do not change the real website, and other visitors never see them. Some features rely on third-party infrastructure (for example, sign-in or payment processing) as described in our Privacy Policy.

03User Accounts and Registration

You can use the free editor without an account. Pro features and sync require signing in with Google. When you sign in, you agree to keep your account secure and accept responsibility for activity under it. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or abuse the Service.

04Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • Use edited pages or screenshots to deceive, defraud or impersonate others — for example, by presenting a modified page as genuine.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, or compromise the extension, our servers, or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated means to abuse rate limits, overload infrastructure, or circumvent technical or licensing restrictions.
  • Upload or transmit malware, unlawful content, or material you do not have the right to handle.
  • Interfere with other users' access to the Service.

You are responsible for the changes, custom code and content you create, save or sync with the Service, and for following the terms of the websites you use it on.

05Service Availability and Modifications

We aim to offer a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Websites change, and a saved change may stop applying when a site is redesigned. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features; perform maintenance; impose or adjust usage limits; and update the extension or website. Where we materially change paid plans or pricing, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable (for example, on our website or by email).

06Pricing and Payment Terms

Edit Page has a free plan and a paid Pro plan, offered monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, as described on our Pricing page and in checkout. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the authorised reseller and merchant of record for your transaction; we do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically according to the terms shown at purchase unless cancelled in time.
  • A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks Pro for as long as Edit Page is offered.
  • Refunds, withdrawals, and cancellations for paid orders follow Paddle's Refund Policy, the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions, and Section 7 below.
  • We may change prices with advance notice where required by law or contract.

07Refund Policy

Consumer Right to Cancel

If you are a Consumer and unless the below exception applies, you have the right to cancel this Agreement and get refund within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send us your communication concerning your exercise of the cancellation right before the expiration of the 14 day period.

Digital Content Exception

Important: This is a Digital Content product which is immediately made available, by using the product, you consent to immediate performance of this Agreement and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal from this Agreement once the download or applicable transmission of the digital content has begun. We will definitely refund you if you cancel within 14 days, with no questions asked.

Subscription Cancellations

For subscription services, if you wish to cancel your subscription, please contact us at contact@editpage.dev at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period, or cancel from your account page. Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.

General Refund Policy

You have the right to cancel your agreement. We will definitely refund you if you cancel within 14 days. For any refund requests or questions, please contact us at contact@editpage.dev and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Paddle acts as the authorised reseller for purchases of software and other digital products from software developers ("Suppliers"). SummaryTube is the Supplier of Edit Page for this purpose. Your refund, withdrawal, cancellation, and billing rights are those in Paddle's Refund Policy and the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions (each as updated from time to time). The Refund Policy forms part of the Buyer Terms and is subject to their terms and definitions; if there is any inconsistency, the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions apply. If local consumer protection laws or these Terms give you additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of protection applies. Nothing in this Section limits your mandatory consumer rights.

08Disclaimers (Service & Third Parties)

The Service works on top of third-party websites that we do not control. Changes you make are local to your browser and may stop working when a website changes. You are responsible for reviewing the sites you edit and complying with their terms.

Except where prohibited by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

09Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including branding, software, documentation, and website design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the extension and website for personal or internal business use in line with these Terms — not to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law.

You retain rights in content you create (for example, your saved changes and custom CSS or JavaScript). You grant us a license to host and process that content only as needed to operate the Service, such as storing your saved sites when you turn on sync. Websites you edit remain the property of their owners.

10Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you acknowledge those practices.

11Termination

You may stop using the Service, delete your account, or uninstall the extension at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or illegal activity, abuse the Service or other users, fail to pay fees when due, or where we are required to do so by law or security needs.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete or retain data as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, loss of saved changes due to device failure, browser data being cleared or user error, or third-party actions.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) zero if you only used free features. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

13Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and agents against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

14Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction's laws. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply to you.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, you and we agree that courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory arbitration or venue rules that apply to consumers in your region.

15General Provisions

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or checkout terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.

Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Material changes may be highlighted or notified by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires a different process.

Severability & waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
